Area 2-G 1954 Section Conclave Neckerchief
Updated: Dick Krzyiewski sends along a scan of a 1954 Area 2-G Conclave Neckerchief. Were any other items issued for this conclave?
Ray Gould has sent a copy of the neckerchief slide issued for this conclave. This is a scan of color photocopy.
Rob Higgens list the Area 2-G lodges in 1954 as:
- Gonlix 34 (from 2-D)
- Adirondack 357 (from 2-D)
- Yahnundasis 465 (from 2-D)
- Seneca 394 (from 2-E, to 2-H by 1961)
- Aola 410 (from 2-E)
- Manatoanna 461
- Ona Yote Kaonaga 500
- Yokahú 506
- Otahnagon 172 (from 2-D, to 2-H in 1956)
- Tahgajute 247 (from 2-E, to 2-H in 1956)
- Ah Wa Ge 477 (to 2-H in 1956)

Hi Bill and Neale-
From what I’ve seen, there is a neckerchief slide (bakelite? type…..red with black indian head profile and says “Area II-G Conference……….1954″). I have never seen a patch……..I believe the patch confusion has lingered for years with some confusion about the white arrowhead patch with pine tree (actually belonging to the 1955 conference). I do have a color picture of the 1954 slide and will scan and send to you.

Hi Neale,
Ona Yote Kaonaga Lodge #500 was chartered the year before, should’ve been in that area, but your list confirms that they didn’t attend 2-G (not until 1955). Any ideas why, or maybe they were just too new?
