Hardest NY OA To Collect – Buckskin Lodge #412 J2

One of the hardest pieces from Buckskin Lodge #412 to collect is their J2 backpatch. The story as I heard it, is the teal background was an error and was not widely circulated and eventually destroyed. If anyone has the full story, please feel free to share it.

Brian Petrowski sent along the following information:

just wanted to let you know about a private raffle that I will be hosting for the famous Buckskin Lodge 412 “Teal” Legend jacket patch. As you all know this is one of the rarest Buckskin Lodge items because so few were actually released before they were destroyed. Up for raffle here is a crisp mint Buckskin Lodge teal legend jacket patch. Here is an opportunity for everyone to purchase a chance to win this teal legend patch. Here are the rules:
  • Raffle ticket cost is $30 one entry per scouter please.
  • All entries along with payment must be received by May 31st, 2008.
  • Raffle will take place at Buckskin Lodges Spring Service weekend on Saturday June, 7th (winner need not be present)
  • A third of the proceeds will go toward a campership for scout going to Onteora this summer.
  • Please see attached flyer for raffle ticket and all other information.
