1964 Area 2-D Conclave Issues

A trio of issues from the 1964 Area 2-D Conclave hosted by Ta-Oun-Ya-Wat-Ha Lodge #268 and held at Camp Saratoga. Once again thanks to Tom Wadnola for the images.

First up is the pocket patch.

Next is the neckerchief.  While the neckerchief and patch share the Native American theme, they are not the same design.  The neckerchief while not identical is reminiscent of the Ta-Oun-Ya-Wat-Ha Lodge neckerchief designs.

Finally there was a neckerchief slide for the event.

Anything else I’ve missed?

  1. Hi,
The ’64 Area 2D patch design was lifted from Marnoc Lodge. The neckerchief design was misappropriated from a Ben Hunt book on Indian lore. Harold Bush, then Lodge 268 advisor, designed these items.
