I had previously posted about a pair of patches available by making donations to the Northeast Region Order of the Arrow Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund Program.
It was announced by the Northeast Region OA Key Three that over $57,000 was raised from a variety of sources and 9 Grants were awarded.
Two of them went to NY OA Lodges:
Tkaen DoD Lodge of the Five Rivers Council will receive $5,500 to rebuild the wheelchair accessible entrance to the Nature Lodge at Camp Gorton.
and
Kintecoying Lodge, the newly formed lodge of the Greater New York Council will receive $7,500 to rebuild a family cabin destroyed by a tree at Ten Mile River Scout Reservation.
