Collecting Goals for 2010

Just over a year ago, I wrote a short post asking about peoples collecting goals for 2009.

Forget the diet, forget exercising, what resolutions are you going to make or goals you will try to achieve for your collecting interest in 2009?

Getting organized?

Starting a new collection?

Completing a Collection?

Selling your Collection?

So what are your collecting goals/resolutions for 2009?

What collecting goals did you set for yourself in 2009 and did you accomplish them?  What new goals will you set for 2010?

The conception of two people living together for twenty-five years without having a cross word suggests a lack of spirit only to be admired in sheep.

50s Neckerchief Slides Lot

I wrote about this seemingly innocent auction on eBay last week entitled 50s Neckerchief Slides Lot with a starting bid of just $ 8.95.

Clicking on the image will bring you to the auction for the next few months.

From that lowly starting point, it quickly rose to over $ 1000.00 and before then hammer fell for the last time, there were four separate bidders over $ 1,000 and a fifth at $ 998.

The final $ 1,534.09.  Steak Dinner for the seller that night!

I believe the key were the four Area 3 neckerchief slides.  Were there any other items which drove up the price so high?
