A different setting from where we in Scouting are used to hearing Taps. Freedom isn’t free. And today we remember those who paid the ultimate price.
Day is done, gone the sun, from the lakes from the hills from the sky,
all is well, safely, rest, God is near.
Fading light, Dims the sight, And a star gems the sky Gleaming bright,
From afar, Drawing, near, Falls the night.
Thanks and praise, For our days, Neath the sun Neath the stars Neath the sky,
As we go, This, we, know, God is near.

Two years ago I was writing about the 1994 Section NE-5 Conclave.
The event was hosted by Langundowi Lodge #46 and held at Custaloga Town Scout Reservation. The theme was On The Path of the Arrow.
Still a need of mine if anyone has one available for trade or sale…

A year ago, I wrote about Shu Shu Gah Lodge Belt Buckles.
Shu Shu Gah Lodge #24 unveiled a new belt buckle at this past weekend’s Ordeal. They were available for sale to all lodge members, and are also available via the Shu Shu Gah Lodge #24 Web Site.
They quickly sold out, but now it looks like they are back in stock
