I had previously written about a yellow-bordered issue from Ranachqua Lodge #4 for the 100th Anniversary of the BSA. There is also a red bordered version of the patch. The yellow was issued first.
The Blue Book style stats for this one should be:
S36 – RED R M/C BLK YEL FDL; BLK 100 Years of Scouting 90 Years of Service RED WWW
I’m not sure what the reason is for the different border colors, does anyone know?
There were two different runs for the flap. Each was limited to 100 pieces. There was no other other reason for the border change.
