Nischa Nitis Lodge #410 N2a and N2b
I have been looking at (or for) the N2a and N2b from Nischa Nitis Lodge #410 for several years now. the Blue Book Descriptions for them are:
N2a RED P YEL YEL SSC; TRI design like P1; 15×27 mm “410″; light BLK screening
N2b RED P YEL YEL SSC; TRI design like P1; 15×27 mm “410″; heavy BLK details
I’ve always been confused as to where specifically to look for the light and heavy black details. Was it the arrow, the peace pipe? I thought that maybe it was in the leggings or body outlines.
Well first, here is the N2a
And here is the N2b:
The differences finally became clear to me. While there is some difference in the black screening in the peacepipe, I think the most obvious is in the Indians hair.
N2a closeup on left, N2b on the right. While there are some other minor differences in the black detail; I can’t see any else more easily describable.
Can you?

Looking at these photos and if I was to guess what the difference was I would say that the N2b has more black in the arrow shaft, the hair, the peace pipe, and in the Indians two feathers. I have the N2b and some day will find the N2a.

Neale,
Let me check my dupes and see what I may have. Over the years I picked up one or two N2’s trying to get the one I needed.
