To share information about new or newly discovered Order of the Arrows patches, flaps, odd-shapes, neckerchiefs, event and chapter issues from New York State Order of the Arrow Lodges, warnings about fakes, spoof, and reproductions and any other information that may be of interest to New York State OA Collectors.
Issue Numbers are subject to change as I become aware of new issues, errors or omissions in listings.
Mark Eddy provides an image of the 1953 Area 2-D Conclave Pocket Patch with the hanger still attached. The version I had posted in the original posting had the hanger cut off.
AS I get ready fir the TOR in Rochester later this month, I look back on a post written 5 years ago in April 2010 on the Area 2-E 1953 Conclave.
I was fortunate to pick up one of my early Area 2-E Conclave neckerchiefs at the Rochester TOR on March 27, 2010. The 1953 Area 2-E conclave was held at Camp Sam Wood and hosted by Amo’chk Lodge #339.
There was a pocket patch issued for the event, which is still a need for me,

“Never chew off the hand you write with, you might survive and have to sign autographs.†― Jarod Kintz, This Book is Not FOR SALE
This patch was not listed pictured on John Pannell’s OA Images. I’ve since corrected that omission. This patch is not an OA issue, but was issued by Mohican Council for their 1953. The Wakpominee Lodge refers to a camp facility and not the OA Lodge.

While it has been a while, I recently updated my Order of the Arrow Handbook Checklist. I was spurred to update if due to an acquisition of a couple of my needs. Once of which is pictured below. The March 1953 Printing of the OAHB had 10,000 copies made.
Prior to 1989 has a code to determine which printing the book is from and the quantity of books printed. This code is normally listed beneath the copy right information. For example this handbook had the code, 10M353 which indicates 10,000 copies were printed in March 1953.

Can anyone confirm the existence of issues for 2010 – Brad Lichota Chief, 2011 Jonathan Hillis Chief and if their was a special 2012 NOAC edition. All would be needs for me.

The 1953 Area 2-D Conclave was hosted by Sisilija Lodge #19 and held at Camp Boyhaven. I have a pocket patch and a neckerchief that were issued for this event. Does anyone know if anything else was issued for this event?
