Section NE-3A 2010 Conclave SMY Pocket Patch

At the Allegheny Highlands Council TOR last weekend, I came across a new variant of the pocket patch issued for the Section NE-3A 2010 Conclave. The 2010 Section NE-3A Conclave was held at Camp Russell and hosted by Ga Hon Ga Lodge #34. The theme was Arrow Wars 2010.

This patch has a SMY border. While the scanner washes it out a bit it is definitely SMY and not the previously known white border.

Can anyone confirm the use of the different border colors?

I’ll update the original post for the Section NE-3A 2010 Conclave with the information.

Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave Staff Neckerchief

I had heard that a Staff Neckerchief for the Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave existed, but had never seen one. The Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave, was one of the first conclave postings I made back in early 2008.

Recently, I obtained an image of the Staff neckerchief.

Ashokwahta Lodge #339 2018 NE-3A 2018 NOAC Red Border S30

Each NOAC going back a couple of decades, Section NE-3A and its predecessors have issued a set of flaps including one for each member lodge. Currently members of each lodge could order individual flaps from their home lodge and sets of the 5 lodges which make up the section. So their are different numbers made of each flap. For NOAC 2018, each flap shares a common design with the individual lodge name and a different border color for each flap.

Ashokwahta Lodge #339 has an red border.

Section NE-3A 1980 Conclave Neckerchiefs

My original post form the 1980 Section NE-3A Conclave showed a pocket patch and a neckerchief. Since than I have acquired two other neckerchiefs issued for the event.

The first one shown below would seem to be the main conclave neckerchief which pictures the design of the pocket patch.

and the pocket patch:

I had previously had the neckerchief shown below:

and another recent acquisition:

The red section appears to be a canvas like material which was added unto a yellow cloth neckerchief. Bob Fenty had advised that a number of these were made on a excess of district camporee neckerchiefs.

Should these last 2 neckerchiefs be more properly listed a Ktemaque Lodge issues? Can anyone confirm if they were only used/available to the host Lodge?

The lodges in Section NE-3 at the time were:

  • Ranachqua Lodge #4
  • Ktemaque Lodge #15
  • Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge #24
  • Half Moon Lodge #28
  • Suanhacky Lodge #49
  • Skanondo Lodge #64
