“Are we disposed to be of the number of those, who having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it might cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.” —Patrick Henry (1775)

Scouting Hot Finds Insiders Round Table #1

You can see the video by clicking the image below.

.

In response to one of Jason’s questions, I discuss the fact that more and more councils and lodges adding online stores to help in their fundraising efforts since face to face meetings have been curtailed or stopped during COVID19.

Here is a link to the Kintecoying Lodge online store. If you have a link to an online store particularly for an NYS OA Lodge, please add it in the comments below.

“[W]e still find the greedy hand of government thrusting itself into every corner and crevice of industry, and grasping the spoil of the multitude. Invention is continually exercised, to furnish new pretenses for revenues and taxation. It watches prosperity as its prey and permits none to escape without tribute.” –Thomas Paine, Rights of Man, 1791

“What is a Constitution? It is the form of government, delineated by the mighty hand of the people, in which certain first principles of fundamental law are established. The Constitution is certain and fixed; it contains the permanent will of the people, and is the supreme law of the land; it is paramount to the power of the Legislature, and can be revoked or altered only by the authority that made it.” –William Paterson, VanHorne’s Lessee v. Dorrance, 1795
