Blue Book Numbering Conventions
In preperation for my next post, I had an email conversation with Bill Topkis regarding how to number specific items based on the Blue Book conventions.
Lodge #15 Ktemaque was issuing a series of patches for the upcoming NOAC. A specific number, were going to have numbers embroidered on them. thus creating a limited number of sets. The balance of each issue were to be issued without the number emroidered on the patch.
My question was, is the difference enough to cause a new issue number or were we speaking about varieties of the same issue.
Actually the decision was already made as Lodge #432 Wipila Wiki has a number of similar patches with and without an embroidered number.
In order to maintain consistancy, the patch with the embroidered number will be a different issue than the patch without the embroidered number.
I will have to go back and look into some Buckskin Lodge issues, as I think they have had a similar situation for some lodge and chapter issues.
