Iroquois Trail and Greater Niagara Frontier Councils Merger?

Brother Andrew Kosmowski had previously sent along word of a proposed merger of two Western New York Councils.

Click on the image for a larger version of the image.

He recently sent along another link which implies the merger is a done deal, all though it is not clearly stated.

Clicking on the image will bring you to the full article.

I’ve not seen any confirmation that any votes have been held by either council.

Nothing on how the lodge merger might be handled, but policy would indicate there would be only one 2024 Lodge charter i9ssued by National if the Concil merger is completed.

Suanhacky Lodge #49 Golden Stag Bolo

Another update from Eddy Petersen. He wrote

I spoke with former lodge advisor to gain some insight as to the bolo’s provenance. The bolos were given out beginning in 2003 to one (a) per lodge and (b) per chapter as recognition of their service. The bolos were hand crafted by Tony Pinnavaia.

Does anyone know how many years this was used?

Kintecoying Lodge #4 Eagle Scout Flap S30

Kintecoying Lodge #4 started 2023 with its Winter Banquet. Eddy Petersen sends along an image of a new flap issued by the lodge, its first Eagle Scout Flap. My understanding is that 2 will be given to each new Eagle Scout within the Lodge.

And the stats would be:

According to Patchscan, there were 500 issued.

“And have we now forgotten that powerful Friend? or do we imagine we no longer need its assistance? I have lived, Sir, a long time; and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this Truth, that God governs in the Affairs of Men. And if a Sparrow cannot fall to the Ground without his Notice, is it probable that an Empire can rise without his Aid?” —Benjamin Franklin (1787)
