2020 Order of the Arrow Handbook

I will be updating my Order of the Arrow Handbook Checklist. I recently acquired of one of my needs, the 2020 Printing which again does not indicate a copyright date and lists Zachary Schonfeld as the National Chief.

After 1989, there was no indication of the month or printing size. There was usually an indication of the year it was revised or printed. One of the easiest identifiers is the name/signature of the National Chief printed in the Handbook and most recently the Printing Year which is listed on the back cover.

The cover for this printing is the same as 2019, an old time statue of a Scout with arms folded.

and the back cover:

Looking to confirm if one more recent OA Handbook was actually issued for 2011 and 2016 and if so, I’m looking to purchase or trade for it.

Mahicantuck Lodge #15 Charter Member Flap S2

Late last year, members of Ktemaque and Nacha Nimat Lodges gathered at Camp Bullowa for the first official meeting of their new lodge.
The new name for the Greater Hudson Valley Council Order of the Arrow lodge will be “Mahicantuck Lodge #15, W.W.W.” and it’s totem will be that of the historic “Mastadon”, where remains have been found in the Hudson Valley area.

They have now issued 2 flaps.

Section NE-3A 2010 Conclave SMY Pocket Patch

At the Allegheny Highlands Council TOR last weekend, I came across a new variant of the pocket patch issued for the Section NE-3A 2010 Conclave. The 2010 Section NE-3A Conclave was held at Camp Russell and hosted by Ga Hon Ga Lodge #34. The theme was Arrow Wars 2010.

This patch has a SMY border. While the scanner washes it out a bit it is definitely SMY and not the previously known white border.

Can anyone confirm the use of the different border colors?

I’ll update the original post for the Section NE-3A 2010 Conclave with the information.

Kittan Lodge #364 Gold/Yellow Border 2012 NOAC Set

Although I had heard talk of this one over the years, I had never seen one myself.

Adam N. sent along this image, while not great does provide visual proof that something was issued.

Can anyone provide a better quality image or have one to sell/trade?

“We are, heart and soul, friends to the freedom of the press. It is however, the prostituted companion of liberty, and somehow or other, we know not how, its efficient auxiliary. It follows the substance like its shade; but while a man walks erect, he may observe that his shadow is almost always in the dirt. It corrupts, it deceives, it inflames. It strips virtue of her honors, and lends to faction its wildfire and its poisoned arms, and in the end is its own enemy and the usurper’s ally, It would be easy to enlarge on its evils.” —Fisher Ames (1807)
