Shu Shu Gah Lodge #24 Nah-Ne-Wa-Ye Chapter Hatband HAB1

It is not often that I can cross off a Shu Shu Gah Lodge #24 Chapter issue need from my list. I was fortunate to pick one up a few months ago. While it looks like a small sash, it was actually made as a hatband for an old style campaign hat.

Scouting Hot Finds Insiders Round Table #1

I recently participated in the Scouting Hot Finds Insiders Round Table #1 where we discussed several topics which may be of interest to Scout memorabilia collectors.

You can see the video by clicking the image below.

.

In response to one of Jason’s questions, I discuss the fact that more and more councils and lodges adding online stores to help in their fundraising efforts since face to face meetings have been curtailed or stopped during COVID19.

Here is a link to the Kintecoying Lodge online store. If you have a link to an online store particularly for an NYS OA Lodge, please add it in the comments below.

“[W]e still find the greedy hand of government thrusting itself into every corner and crevice of industry, and grasping the spoil of the multitude. Invention is continually exercised, to furnish new pretenses for revenues and taxation. It watches prosperity as its prey and permits none to escape without tribute.” –Thomas Paine, Rights of Man, 1791

I understand that the two Lodges, Ktemaque #15 (WPC) and Nacha Nimat #86 (HVC) will merge sometime later in 2021. More information on that as it becomes available. 2021 is the 25th Anniversary Year for Nacha Nimat (1996-2021).

Suanhacky Lodge #49 Tatanka Chapter 1991 Wint-O-Ree Patch eR1991

One of the things I have always enjoyed about collecting was discovering unknown or at least unlisted issues. While I was actively collecting Sunahacky Lodge #49 in 1991 as well as attending the annual TOR they were holding in those days, I never saw this one nor was it ever listed in the Blue Book.

“If it be asked, What is the most sacred duty and the greatest source of our security in a Republic? The answer would be, An inviolable respect for the Constitution and Laws — the first growing out of the last. … A sacred respect for the constitutional law is the vital principle, the sustaining energy of a free government.” —Alexander Hamilton (1794)
