It is the first since they started to keep official records in 1950 and anaecdotedly the first since 1889.<\/p>\n<p>It first made landfall in Brooklyn just a few blocks from where I live (about 1\/2 mile) and did some serious damage just one block away from my house.  Fortunately all is well in the NY OA Trader household.
