{"id":696,"date":"2007-02-19T20:22:50","date_gmt":"2007-02-20T01:22:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/?p=696"},"modified":"2007-02-19T20:25:15","modified_gmt":"2007-02-20T01:25:15","slug":"kamargo-lodge-294-x1-10th-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/2007\/02\/19\/kamargo-lodge-294-x1-10th-anniversary\/","title":{"rendered":"Kamargo Lodge #294 X1 10th Anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=666\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-666\" title=\"question-mark.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/02\/question-mark.jpg\" alt=\"question-mark.jpg\" style=\"margin: 0pt 10px 10px\" align=\"left\" \/><\/a>More questions on Kamargo Lodge #294.\u00c2\u00a0 This time the Blue Book X1, the 10th Anniversary Patch.\u00c2\u00a0 This one based on the dates would have to have been issued in 1955.<\/p>\n<p>Ray Gould has continued to dig and from the same source on the previous Kamargo <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/?p=690\">post<\/a> offers the following.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><font size=\"2\">The 10th Anniversary does not exist.\u00c2\u00a0 I have told BlueBook this several times.\u00c2\u00a0  (They don&#8217;t pay attention).<\/font><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ray questions:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00c2\u00a0<font size=\"2\">With respect to the X-1, can anyone provide a scan?\u00c2\u00a0 I have been told by an  additional source it doesn&#8217;t exist.\u00c2\u00a0 Should the listing be updated with the  description &#8220;may not exist&#8221;?<\/font><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have one in my collection, nor is one pictured on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oaimages.com\/\">OA Images<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 What do we know?<\/p>\n<p>This patch has been listed in the Blue Book since the first edition in 1996.\u00c2\u00a0 It has also been listed in to prior guide books.<\/p>\n<p>Arapaho, First Edition copyright 1979 list a 294 10th Anniversary patch as the X2 (Arapaho used a different numbering scheme counting P issues as X&#8217;s.).\u00c2\u00a0 It was described as BRN RED C M\/C 10th Anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>The Order of the Arrow in New York State by Al Rosenberger undated, but circa 1981 lists an 294 X2 BRN RED C M\/C 10th Anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>So this patch has been listed in the guidebooks for nearly 40 years.\u00c2\u00a0 But what is it?\u00c2\u00a0 It may not be a lodge issue or it may be some sort of camp patch or other issue.\u00c2\u00a0 Or it certainly could be a very small run issue that only a handful still exist (or were ever made) perhaps an early executive committee patch like the 294 A3.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>Does anyone have one in their collections or can provide a scan?<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>More questions on Kamargo Lodge #294.\u00c2\u00a0 This time the Blue Book X1, the 10th Anniversary Patch.\u00c2\u00a0 This one based on the dates would have to have been issued in 1955.
