Based on the current descriptions in the Blue Book it is virtually impossible to distinguish the a, b, &amp; c varieties of the 246N1 without having them side by side (by side).  In this post I will suggest some changes to the current Blue Book descriptions, in order to make it easier to identify the variations.<\/p>\n<p>First up is the N1a.  The Blue Book describes it as follows:<\/p>\n<p>N1a    BLU    P    WHT    RED        SSC design similar to F2; Raccoon perched on arrow<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/2007\/02\/08\/horicon-lodge-246-neckerchief-identification-update\/horicon-lodge-246-neckerchief-n1a\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-674\" title=\"Horicon Lodge #246 Neckerchief N1a\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/02\/246n1a.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"Horicon Lodge #246 Neckerchief N1a\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I would propose:<\/p>\n<p>N1a    BLU    P    WHT    RED        SSC design similar to F2;
