I wrote about this seemingly innocent auction<\/a> on eBay last week entitled 50s Neckerchief Slides Lot<\/a>\"\" with a starting bid of just $ 8.95.<\/p>\n

From that lowly starting point, it quickly rose to over $ 1000.00 and before then hammer fell for the last time, there were four separate bidders over $ 1,000 and a fifth at $ 998.<\/p>\n

The final $ 1,534.09.\u00c2\u00a0 Steak Dinner for the seller that night!<\/p>\n

I believe the key were the four Area 3 neckerchief slides.\u00c2\u00a0 Were there any other items which drove up the price so high?<\/p>\n
