\"KnowledgeA couple of years ago, I had posted about the World Brotherhood Camporee <\/a>which\u00c2\u00a0 is held each year and alternates between sites in the US and Canada.<\/p>\n

The World Brotherhood Camporee<\/strong> is an annual event held every September with approximately 3,000 attendees.\u00c2\u00a0 Each year the Loyalist Area<\/a>, Scouts Canada and the Hiawatha Seaway Council<\/a>, BSA take turns hosting this camporee.\u00c2\u00a0 In even years, it’s held on the US side at Wellesley Island State Park<\/a> (in the Thousand Islands across from Clayton, NY).\u00c2\u00a0 In odd years it’s held in Canada at Riverside Cedar Provincial Park<\/a> (near Morrisburg, ON). The program varies from camporee to camporee but the one big constant is badge trading.\u00c2\u00a0 Proceeds from the camp help support projects of the Canadian Scout Brotherhood Fund<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For those with sharp eyes, or good luck, there was recently what appeared to be a common auction on eBay, entitled 3 DIFFERENT 60S & 70S BOY SCOUT CAMPOREE BADGE PATCHES<\/a>\"\".<\/p>\n

One of those 3 patches (the one on the right), was from the 1975 World Brotherhood Camporee, only the second time the event was held.<\/p>\n
