Paul Cox sends along a press release for an exhibit on the History of Scouting in Onieda County.<\/p>\n

The general public is invited to a special free admission day at the Oneida County Historical Society on Saturday, February 14, to celebrate the opening of its new \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcScouting in Oneida County’ exhibit. This display features artifacts and images that tell the story of Boy Scouting in the Mohawk Valley from its beginnings almost a century ago to the present. To create this exhibit the society partnered with leaders from the local Revolutionary Trails Council, BSA, who provided patches, camp gear, manuals, and uniforms.<\/p>\n

The \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcScouting in Oneida County’ exhibit will remain open into early April 2009. All regional scout leaders are encouraged to bring their troops and dens to the society to see this display of their heritage.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
