The 22nd World Jamboree will be held in Sweden beginning on July 27 and running through August 7, 2011. The theme is Simply Scouting.<\/p>\n

There is now a website <\/a>dedicated to the event.<\/p>\n

July 2011. A green grassy field outside the town of Kristianstad in southern Sweden has turned into a bustling town of more than 30 000 people.<\/p>\n

Small tents, cooking fires, uniforms, music, nature, food, dancing, caf\u00c3\u00a9s, wood, adventures, singing, environment, orienteering, meetings, Scout scarves, letters from home, meditation, rock bands, patrols, ice cream, email, celebration, bicycles, pioneering, singing, cleaning, calm, water, sunshine, reunions, sleeping, laughter, solidarity…<\/p>\n

This is the World Scout Jamboree.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
