A recent tradition has been the having one or more deep fried turkeys as part of the family Thanksgiving Feast.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/recipeconnection.info\/blog\/?p=18\">Cajun method of deep frying <\/a>a whole turkey produces a moist, flavorful bird with a deliciously seasoned crispy skin. The finished product is ready in a fraction of the time that it takes to cook a traditional roasted turkey.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It really does take just a fraction of the time (about 3-4 minutes per pound) and is the juiciest turkey you will ever have. I&#8217;ve cooked a couple of dozen turkeys over the last 5 years and they are the best.<\/p>\n<p>Of course Deep frying a turkey on the typical setup requires open flame and a large pot of hot oil.
