{"id":1120,"date":"2007-11-06T18:50:54","date_gmt":"2007-11-06T22:50:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/2007\/11\/06\/skanondo-lodge-64-uncatalogued-fake-zf25\/"},"modified":"2007-11-01T23:10:44","modified_gmt":"2007-11-02T03:10:44","slug":"skanondo-lodge-64-uncatalogued-fake-zf25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/2007\/11\/06\/skanondo-lodge-64-uncatalogued-fake-zf25\/","title":{"rendered":"Skanondo Lodge #64 Uncatalogued Fake ZF2.5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/09\/fake.gif\" title=\"Focus on Fakes\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/09\/fake.gif\" alt=\"Focus on Fakes\" align=\"left\" \/><\/a>I recently acquired a fake F1 flap from Skanondo Lodge #64.\u00c2\u00a0 Upon carefully comparing it to the ZF1 and ZF2\u00c2\u00a0 on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oaimages.com\/\">OAimages<\/a>, it has several minor characteristics which do not match the previously known fakes.\u00c2\u00a0 This uncatalogued variety, does not appear to be one of the modern fakes, but is very similar to the early fakes.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m not sure whether to make it a ZF2b or call it the ZF2.5.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/11\/64zf2dot5.jpg\" title=\"Skanondo Lodge #64 Uncatalogued Fake ZF2.5\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.nyoatrader.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/11\/64zf2dot5.jpg\" alt=\"Skanondo Lodge #64 Uncatalogued Fake ZF2.5\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">If you compare it to the ZF1 and ZF2, you will see the following differences from one or both flaps.\u00c2\u00a0 The arrowhead is shaped differently on this issue, there is a high tag between the GE of Lodge and a high tag between the ND in Skanondo, the eye is pointed on the left rather than rounded, the leftmost short point is distinct on this version.\u00c2\u00a0 This flap is also TRS, the other seem to be TRR from the scans.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">My inclination is to call it the ZF2.5, what are your thoughts?<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">I have also noticed while reviewing the &#8220;real&#8221; F1 a, b, and c varieties versus the various fakes that there appears to be another common difference between the real and fake.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m not sure if this is universal across the universe of fakes however.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">If you check all of the real scans on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oaimages.com\/64.shtml\">OAimages<\/a> for the 64F1;
