Prior to 1973, what today are known as OA Sections, were called Areas. Each Area had a number designation representing the Region it belonged to. The individual local group of lodges were further designated by a letter. The NYC lodges were originally Area 2-A and later became Area 2-J.<\/p>\n
This page will provide links to all posts featuring images from the memorabilia issued for each Area Conclave or other event where a New York State Lodge is a member of the Area.<\/p>\n
There will be cases where the host lodge and camp will be outside NY. At minimum there have been conclaves held in Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Vermont.<\/p>\n
I would like this page to be a resource for NYS Area conclave collectors. For a long time it will be a work in progress.\u00c2\u00a0 Conclaves in black have not been written up yet.\u00c2\u00a0 Likely I still need images (or at least get my act together and post them).<\/p>\n
