Flag Day June 14, 2013

The “Stars and Stripes”, the official symbol of the United States of America was authorized by the Continental Congress on Saturday of June 14, 1777

It was in 1916 that President Woodrow Wilson issued a presidential proclamation establishing a national Flag Day on June 14.
