Collecting OA Handbooks

Knowledge is Power

Collecting OA Handbooks is an interesting collecting field.  Most items are modestly priced.  The handbooks back to the early 1960’s can frequently be found on eBay for $10 or less in mint or near mint condition.  There are several ways to collect including every printing, cover changes, NOAC editions or whatever you desire.

Once you get back to the 1950’s, the prices begin to creep up.

As you might expect, the most expensive OA Handbook is the first edition.  One recently ended on eBay, which is pictured below, since the eBay item is only available for a limted time.

There is purportedly a Hardcover version of this handbook, but I have never seen it.  Can anyone share a scan?

It is inaccurate to say that I hate everything. I am strongly in favor of common sense, common honesty, and common decency. This makes me forever ineligible for public office.
