2009 Pre-NOAC Trade-O-Ree

Craig Leighty announced information for the 2009 pre-NOAC Trade-O-Ree on Patch-L yesterday.  Perhaps the most surprising news, is that it will be held on campus at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana and will be part of the official NOAC program.

ISCA is the International Scout Traders Association.  The Trade-O-Ree will run from July 30 through August 1, 2009. The arrival day at NOAC.

ISCA will host the 2009 Pre-NOAC Trade-O-Ree in partnership with the Order of the Arrow.

The Trade-O-Ree will be held on campus (Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana) in the Mellencamp Pavilion, an air conditioned, football sized athletic facility that will be a short walk from the NOAC contingent registration area.

Trade-O-Ree Hours:

Thursday, 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM,

Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM and

Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  The Trade-O-Ree on Saturday (along with seminars, training classes and a display competition) will be part of the official NOAC program for NOAC participants.

ISCA will even have a booth in the NOAC registration area directing contingents to the Trade-O-Ree on Saturday making this probably the largest and most attended Trade-O-Ree ever.

There will also be a ISCA only preview of the pre-NOAC TOR on the afternoon of Wednesday July 29, 2009.

More information will be forthcoming on the ISCA Website.

  1. This is a great idea. As a youth I always wanted to hit up the Pre-NOAC TOR but was unable to do so as part of my Lodge’s Youth Contingent. This way anyone who is going to NOAC should be able to hit it up for a bit.

Glad to see they have Chris running the live auction, there should be some great stuff.

Too bad I’m going to be overseas and unable to participate. Hopefully it becomes a NOAC tradition!
