John Pannell one of the Time Person of the Year Winners for 2006 does not seem to make the cut in 2007. 😉 Time Magazine released its short list for the award.
A former Vice President turned green guru? The most popular, and powerful, man in Russia? How about a fiery Middle East leader, or the brains behind Harry Potter? Maybe next year I’ll be nominated for a Nobel prize. 😉
Given that this honor is supposed to go to the person who most influenced the news — for good or ill — during the past year, my vote would have to be for Ahmadinejad.
However, “Time” has shown itself to be a left wing rag. I expect they’ll pick Algore… for preaching his religion of “Globaloneyism” and Nobel prize.
