Chi Sigma Lodge #546 Neckerchief N1

Recently acquired a couple of Chi Sigma Lodge #546 N0.5. While it is pictured on OA Images, so I thought I would show it here, I also plan to post images of the other neckerchiefs from Chi Sigma, so there will be examples from the same scanner. Hopefully that will at least lead to consistent colors.

The Blue Book description is:
N1 – – WHT BLK SSC design like the J issues; scant GRN in bushes
You will see there are now black details in the waterfall, unlike the N0.5.

“No man can well doubt the propriety of placing a president of the United States under the most solemn obligations to preserve, protect, and defend the constitution. It is a suitable pledge of his fidelity and responsibility to his country; and creates upon his conscience a deep sense of duty, by an appeal, at once in the presence of God and man, to the most sacred and solemn sanctions, which can operate upon the human mind.” –Joseph Story (1833)

Chi Sigma Lodge #546 J2

An item of interest to NYS OA Collectors recently ended on eBay, a Chi Sigma Lodge #546 Jacket Patch. You can tell this is the J2, because the Greek Letters Chi Sigma are embroidered on top of the arrow.

Clicking on the image will bring you to the auction for the next few months.

The seller started this at only $ 0.99; 9 bidders and 13 bids later, the final sale price was over $ 153.00.

If you missed this one, you can find another Chi Sigma Lodge #546 Jacket Patch with a BIN of $295.00 on eBay right now.

I think $ 153 was a bit low, but may be right for the times.
