Section NE-3B 2005 Conclave Additional Issues

I had first written about the Section NE-3B 2005 Conclave back in November of 2011.

Mia Hubbert sends along images of two previously unlisted items.

Can anyone confirm why this second variation was issued?

There was an embroidered neckerchief shown in my original post:

there was also a third border color, dark blue.

Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave Staff Neckerchief

I had heard that a Staff Neckerchief for the Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave existed, but had never seen one. The Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave, was one of the first conclave postings I made back in early 2008.

Recently, I obtained an image of the Staff neckerchief.

Half Moon Lodge #28 Dark Blue Service Flap S40b

I had heard several years ago that Half Moon Lodge #28 had issued a service flap. The design is the same as their standard S13 but with a Blue Border. I had reserved an issue number for it, but only recently obtained an image. I have since found out there is a second version with a dark blue border and lettering. I’m calling the Blue the S40a and the DBL the S40b

Discovery – Half Moon Lodge #28 Pink Arrow Flap F1c

Another variation from Half Moon Lodge #28, I’ve heard of this several times over the years and had one in my hands a few years back, but the price was not right. This is another variation of the F1, but with a pink arrow rather than red. The Pink color is the same on the front and the reverse, so it is not faded from the sun, nor are the other colors faded. Contacts in the lodge have said a number due exist in local collections dating back to the 1960’s.

Discovery – Half Moon Lodge #28 Fake of S15 – ZS3

I recently became aware of a fake of the Half Moon Lodge #28 Executive Board flap the S15. The S15 is a White Ghost with a Black Border. The fake, designated the ZS3 appears to an un-bordered version of the S14 with a crude black border added. The real S15 is pictured on top and the ZS3 on the bottom.

Discovery – Half Moon Lodge #28 Neckerchief N3.2

Here is a previously unlisted neckerchief from Half Moon Lodge #28. It is the same as the N3, but with a different ribbon border.

The story I have been told is they were made by a local woman in her house and the first border (N3) got changed when they ran out of that border material, probably less than 50 were made. A similar quantity was made with this border, Probably less than 100 of the two varieties combined.
