Section NE-2B 2001 Conclave Council of Chiefs Pocket Patch

I ha previously written about the 2001 Section NE-2B Conclave was hosted by Lenapehoking Lodge #IX and held at their Camp Lewis. The theme for the weekend was “2001 A Scouting OAdyssey.”

Section NE-2B had a history of issuing a limited number of patches for the COC and as a fundraiser. They typically had a different border color than the standard patches issued for the event.

In 2001, the COC issues had a GMY Border.

Northeast Region OA 2001 Jamboree Region Chief Issue

For the last couple of decades, typically for each National Event (NOAC and Jamboree’s) there was a Northeast Region OA Patch issued. In addition to the basic patch, the current Region Chief typically has a similar patch with a different border color which he gave out while at the event. For the 2001 Jamboree, the shield-shaped patch is shown below.

Shinnecock Lodge #360 Secatogue Chapter 1998 Spring Camporee eR1998?

    OAornotOA
Matt Schieferstein sends along an image and asks a question.

Recently these were sent to me by a former member of the lodge. These are from the Sagtikos District which is our Secatogue Chapter. They do not mention the chapter but they each have either a “WWW” and/or an “Arrow w/ WWW” on them. Would these be considered Chapter issues or just a district issue that would not be part of the blue book?

My inclination would be to list these. It is likely that the event was sponsored or staffed by the chapter. My inclination would be to list this as a chapter issue.

Section NE-3B 2001 Conclave SMY Pocket Patch

conclaveI had previously written about the 2001 Section NE-3B Conclave which was held at Sabbattis Scout Reservation and hosted by Kayanernh-Kowa Lodge #219.

I recently came across what I believe is a staff issue from the event. The design is the same as the white bordered patch, but this one has a silver Mylar border.

    Section NE-2B 2001 Conclave Issues

conclaveThe 2001 Section NE-2B Conclave was hosted by Lenapehoking Lodge #IX and held at their Camp Lewis. The theme for the weekend was “2001 A Scouting OAdyssey.”

I’m only aware of a pocket patch for the event, although I would expect that there were several issues based on subsequent conclaves for this section.
