Gary Moshier sends along an image of a 1972 Area 2-D Conclave Neckerchief with White Piping. The one usually seen has no piping but otherwise looks the same. The conclave was hosted by Thay-En-Da-Ne-Gea Lodge #418 and held at Woodworth Lake Scout Reservation.
Gary speculates that this may be a staff issue.
Do any of the old Thay-En-Da-Ne-Gea Lodge #418 members have information on this version (or have one available for trade or sale)?
Gavin Murdoch advised:
I believe the white piping ones were issued to our members 418 who worked at the event. I did not work it and I have a plain blue border one.
I’ll add this image to the original posting with the standard Area 2-D 1972 Conclave neckerchief.

An Area 2-D Conclave Neckerchief from 1959 recently ended on eBay and it went for a higher price than many other NY Area Conclave Neckerchiefs of similar vintage.
There were 8 unique bidders for this neckerchief, three of them pushing the price well past $ 50.00 until the hammer finally came down at $ 67.00.
The OA Section list has the composition of Area 2-D at that time as:
Half Moon #28
Onteroraus #402 (to 2-H before 1961)
Thay-En-Da-Ne-Gea Lodge #418
You can see my posting on all of the issues from the 1959 conclave here.

Brian Kent sends along two covers issued for the 1958 Area 2-D Conclave. The 1958 Area 2-D Conclave was actually held outside of NYS at Stratton Mountain Scout Reservation in Vermont.
Here is a photo of 2 different envelope designs from the 1958 Area 2D Conclave. I picked one up recently and then noticed it was different from one I already had.
I’ll update the original post with the information.

I was surprised by this recent auction for an early NYS Conclave piece which ended late last month. Typically most NYS conclave 1950 era pieces sell in the $25-50 range with few exceptions.
There were only two unique bidders on this one, but they went toe to toe on this one from beginning to end when the hammer finally came down at over $ 217.

A couple of years ago I posted about the Area 2-D 1952 Conclave an upgrade of the Pocket Patch and the neckerchief are needs for me still,.
The patch does not indicate either the Host Lodge or the location where the event was held. Can anyone supply that information?
I also understand that there was a neckerchief issued for this event. Can anyone confirm that, supply a scan and or a trade for one?

I had previously written about 3 images from items issued for the 1970 Area 2-D Conclave held at Camp Boyhaven and hosted by Sisilija Lodge #19. At the Capital District Trade-O-Ree yesterday Gene Philips pointed out this neckerchief to me which he had just acquired. Fortunately I was able to get one too. Neither of us had seen this staff neckerchief before.
