Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave Staff Neckerchief

I had heard that a Staff Neckerchief for the Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave existed, but had never seen one. The Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave, was one of the first conclave postings I made back in early 2008.

Recently, I obtained an image of the Staff neckerchief.

Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave Neckerchief – Black Piping

While writing up a recent find/acquisition I was reminded of a third variety of the 1974 Section NE-3A Conclave Neckerchief which I had not previously reported, this version with black piping.

This one is currently a need of mine if anyone has one available for trade or sale.

Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave Neckerchief Discovery – Ribbon Border

Back from the 7th Annual Empire State TOR held in Verona last weekend. I had said that I was looking for old and new New York State OA needs and hoped to find an uncatalogued item or two. Here is another discovery, at least for me. I’d previously written about the Section NE-3A 1974 Conclave, and at Verona I came across another version of the event neckerchief with ribbon piping.

I’ll add the information to the original 1974 NE-3A Conclave post too.

ConclaveHere is another conclave image this time from Michael Uchmanowicz for the 1974 Section NE-2A Conclave. He sends along an image of the staff neckerchief issued for the eventNE-2A 1974 conclave. I’d previously written up this but was not aware of a staff neckerchief.

Section NE-2C 1974 Conclave Neckerchief

I originally wrote about the 1974 Section NE-2C Conclave back December 2008.  At the time, I thought there was only a single neckerchief.  I was incorrect, there are at least two, one with red piping (a staff issue?) and the one pictured below.

This was just the second NE-2B Conclave, but there were more items issued for this event than any other NE-2B conclave, 3 patches ans 2 neckerchiefs.

The event was hosted by Chi Sigma Lodge #546 and was held at Camp Barton and the theme was Weld Tightly Every Link.

First is the pocket patch:

Section NE-3A 1974 Section Conclave

ConclaveBrian Petrowski had asked me to send him scans of several section conclaves from the 1970’s that both of our lodges participated in.  Since I had planned to eventually add scans of NYS Section Conclave issues to the blog; this was the perfect excuse to start.

Below you will find 2 issues from the NE-3A 1974 Section Conclave.  The conclave was hosted by Half Moon Lodge #28 and held at Camp Trimount.  The Pocket Patch is a solid, the Jacket Patch (after the jump) has a twill background.
