Over the next few days, I will be posting the individual images from the NY Lodges in the Section NE-3A Section Set.

Section NE-3B 2006 NOAC Jacket Patch Update

Ray Gould comment on an earlier post here.  I have one of the neckerchiefs from Section (Area?) II-B.  This was issued for the 1973 NOAC in Santa Barbara and does have the Lodge totems but no other indication of the individual lodges.  To me this is unquestionably a section issue.  YMMV.

Section NE-3B 2006 NOAC Jacket Patch

In addition to the 8 flaps (one from each of the 8 lodges in Section NE-3B) a JAcket PAtch was also issued. The jacket patch uses the common design, in this case each of the 8 lodges individual names appear on the signpost with the mileage from the Council Headquarters to NOAC. Images supplied by George Jennings.

Now my question is this, the Blue Book convention would seem to be that since each lodge is separately mentioned and approved the design and issuance; this JP should have 8 BB designations (1 for each lodge).  There is precedent for this in the following NYS issues with the three 1996 NOAC flaps from 64, 443 and 444 and in the chevron from 4(X6),24(X7),49(etc.),82, 112.

What are your thoughts?
