New York OA Trader

The 1989 Section NE-2A Conclave was the first conclave following the 1988 Section Realignments, this brought 2 New England Lodges into what had been a strictly NYS Section since the realignment from Area to Sections back in 1972.

The event was hosted by Ta-Oun-Ya-Wat-Ha Lodge #268 and was held at Camp Saratoga.  The theme for the weekend was “We With Hearts and Wills United.”

In addition to the typical Pocket patch and neckerchief, there was also a particpation pin.

The 1978 Section NE-2A Conclave was hosted by Ta-Oun-Ya-Wat-Ha Lodge #268 and held at their council Camp, Camp Saratoga.  The Lodge #268 totem is used on the patch design.

The 1968 Area 2-D Conclave, was held at Camp Saratoga and hosted by Ta-Oun-Ya-Wat-Ha Lodge #268.  there were at least 4 items issued for the event, a pocket patch, neckerchief, neckerchief slide, and a plastic name tag.

A trio of issues from the 1964 Area 2-D Conclave hosted by Ta-Oun-Ya-Wat-Ha Lodge #268 and held at Camp Saratoga. Once again thanks to Tom Wadnola for the images.

First up is the pocket patch.

Next is the neckerchief.  While the neckerchief and patch share the Native American theme, they are not the same design.  The neckerchief while not identical is reminiscent of the Ta-Oun-Ya-Wat-Ha Lodge neckerchief designs.

A recent acquisition for my collection was the Ta-Oun-Ya-Wat-Ha Lodge #268 S7 Vigil Flap. This flap was not pictured on The Internet Guide to Order of the Arrow Insignia website.
