The Host Lodge was Ona Yote #34 and as indicated on the patch, it was held at Camp Kingsley.

The seller is from Germany. According to Ray;

    Please include a post oin your blog to inform those that read it that the seller patch–world (Germany) is producing fakes and attempting to pass them off as real. His example of the #34 dance team patch is a clear fake (fully embroidered) and may even be a 3″ round (instead of a jacket patch). The auction has been bid up to $150+. Looking at his feedback, it appears that he has given refunds to those who have been dissatisfied with receiving a fake (especially when purchased under the belief it was authentic). He has kept all bid activity private (usernames are completely hidden and not scrambled like normal auctions). I notified a friend who I suspected might bid (he was under the belief the item was authentic and had placed a significant bid). Please spread the word.
    The seller has other Scout patches for sale, but this appears to be the only one from New York.
    Dave Scocca advised of a Nentico Lodge #12 Fake from the same seller a few days ago.
    The real item is a twill jacket patch. A picture of the ‘real’ patch is shown below. The image is of the patch in my collection, which I provided to John years ago.

    I was browsing OAImages.com and noticed the eR1999 patch, it says “presumed 1999 camporee”. This is incorrect, the patch is from the council’s spring camporee in 2000 which was hosted by Ona Yote lodge.  Just thought I’d help with clarification.

    My admittedly hazy memory is that I got mine at the Marcy TOR held in late January or early  February 2000.  I purchased mine form the Lodge table, although the person I got it from was hazy as to when the event was held.  It is certainly possible the lodge was taking the opportunity to sell a few before the event to help cover the cost.

Apparently issued in a very small quantity for their Ceremonial Team. The had previously issued 2 very short run jacket patches for the Lodge Dance Team, the Purple Rock Dancers, so a ceremonial patch is not farfetched.

I came across what appears to be a previously undocumented JP from 34 Ona Yote (please see the attached picture). It measures (approx.) 8 3/4″ x 8 3/4″ and am told it was issued to ceremonial team members. Given this gentleman’s reputation … and area of expertise in this lodge, I have no reason to suspect otherwise. He believes it was issued in quantity of 50 or less. Given it has not surfaced previous, I tend to believe quantity of 25 (or less) more likely.

The flap design was a prototype in 1996 which apparently was given to the lodge chiefs in section NE3-B in 1996 to promote a set of uniform flaps to be made for each lodge in the section for the 1996 NOAC.

    Although it did not work in 1996, the sucessor Section NE5-B used the design for the 1998 NOAc, and the section containing these lodges has been doing a Section set every NOAC since than.

    Which brings us to the 3 flaps in questions. To the best of my knowledge and through Ray’s investigations, it appears that the flap has been incorrectly listed as the S10 and YF1. We believe that the correct listing is as the YS1.

    The current Blue Book Listings are as follows:
    S10 TAN R TAN BLK YEL FDL misnumbered 1996 NOAC Section NE5B; WATER IS MEDIUM BLU
    YF1 TAN R TAN BLK YEL FDL; NOAC96; BLK Ho-De-No-Sau-Nee-Ga NE-3B
    YS1 TAN R M/C BLK YEL FDL; NOAC96

    The “WATER IS MEDIUM BLU” in the S10 is an outright error, it should be part of the S11 description and will need to be corrected.

    I believe they should be listed as follows:
    S10 DNE Does not Exist – Duplicate listing for YS1
    YF1 DNE Listed in error see YS1
    YS1 TAN R M/C BLK YEL FDL; NOAC96; BLK Ho-De-No-Sau-Nee-Ga NE-3B

    Below is an image of the YS1 and F2. The F2 was the official lodge issue for the 1996 NOAC. Does anyone have a Tan YF1? Or can otherwise provide proof that more than the YS1 issue exists?
