I recently acquired a couple of Nischa Nimat Lodge #181 eR1987’s on our favorite auction site. It seemed like a great deal, filled a need and gave me one to trade. When they arrived, and I took a closer look, I found an unlisted variety.

The Blue Book lists the issue as eR1987 RED R WHT RED WHT FDL; Spring into Scouting It does not mention the twill direction. The one pictured on OA Images and the top one in the scan below is TR (probably TRM), the one below it is TRS.

The updated listing should be:

I recently acquired one of my few remaining Nischa Nimat #181 needs. This patch is one of their event issues which to date has not been pictured in OA Images.

At the Sakuwit Lodge 2 TOR this weekend, a new event issue was uncovered for Lodge 181 Nischa Nimat. Previously an undated eR19xx was known to exist, as well as dated event patches from 1980 through 1987. Some of which have been reported on this blog. Now an a dated arc - 1990 has been discovered to accompany this undated patch.
Since Nischa Nimat merged with 48, 268 and 418 into 181 Ganienkeh. This would have been the last event issue for Nischa Nimat.
Does anyone have any information on the existance of dated event patches or arcs for the “missing years” 1988 and 1989.

Another unlisted event patch from lodge 181 has turned up. There was another 1982 fellowship event patch already known, so the numbering should noew look like:

Just acquired an unlisted event patch from Nischa Nimat Lodge #181. It is undated but carries the BSA Diamond Jubilee Logo from 1985.
