Updated 9-27-06 - Adjust Blue Book Number for Fake.  Missed one
This is the second fake with simialr characteristecs. I recently posted on fa fake of the 1996 NOAC flap from Man-A-Hattin Lodge #82. Here is one from Ktemaque which I’ve recently noticed on eBay.

The top flap is the Ktemaque S10. Note the RED OBV Arrows and the Yellow Sun and inner border.

The bottom flap is the fake, the ZS4. The major distinguishing characteristic is the OBV arrows are outlined in BLK. The innr border and sun is also DYL or GLD. This difference is glaring when they are held side-by-side, but less obvious otherwise.

Ktemaque Lodge #15 has issued a trader flap and three 2-piece sets for the 2006 NOAC. There are a trader, a fundraiser and a contingent set. However awrinkle was added.

Ktemaque has created 25 sets of the 7 patches listed above. Each of the 7 patches has a number embroidered in White on each patch (1 to 25).

They will separately issue the patches without the embroidered numbers.

The Blue Book conventions, call these otherwise identical patches separate issues, so the 7 embroider patches and the 7 ‘unembroidered’ patches become 7 more.

On the image below of the contingent set, you can see a white #24 has been embroidered on both the flap and on the chevron. The same SMY set will be issued without the embroidered numbers.

Ktemaque Lodge is issuing a series of 7 patches for the 2006 NOAC. A Single Flap and three 2-piece sets. The sets all share the same design with different border colors RMY, SMY, GMY. Once I have more information, I will post it, but they are some variation of Fundraiser, Trader and Delegate. The single flap is of the same design with a Black border.

Recently received confirmation that the issue presviously issued as the YS2 is actually an award given out by the current lodge chief each year for service to the lodge. Based on the timing of its first use, we will list it as the S9.5
