The lucky thirteenth slide in the series on NY OA Neckerchief slides and bolos is also from Buckskin Lodge #412. You can find previous entries by clicking on the neckerchief slide category in the left sidebar.

This slide may be homemade. Has anyone else seen one? It is made of plaster with a wire embedded in the back for the slide. The coloring appears to be paint.

This slide uses the generic Buckskin Lodge design of the 1960’s and 1970’s exemplified by the S10 (below). The slide uses the chrome base metal in place of white in many places on the patch.

While not specifically part of my posts on neckerchief slides from NY OA Lodges, here is a slide from Buckskin Lodge #412 which is in the Blue Book designated the L5.

It is not pictured at oaimages so I sent a copy along to John.

I recently postedon a patch brought to my attention by Brain Petrowski. This is the second OA piece in a series of 12 (or so) patches issued for the Diamond Jubilee of Camp Wauwepex in 1996. The first OA issue in the set, was for an OA Spring Weekend. This one is for the Fall Weekend (which I’m still looking for).

Another new issue from Buckskin Lodge brought to us by Brian Petrowski. This one is another training patch produced for the staff.

The gold border was given to training staff and there were 12 of those produced.

Brian Petrowski brings word of a new Buckskin Lodge #412 training patches for 2007. The patches are 4″ inch round, have a red border was issued to training participants. He advises that 50 of this issue were produced.

Brian Petrowski had previously brought this patch to my attention, but when I updated a number of Buckskin Lodge issues I overlooked this item.

This was one of a series of 12 (or so) patches issued for the Diamond Jubilee of Camp Wauwepex in 1996. There was a second OA issue in the set, an OA Fall Weekend (which I’m looking for).
