One of the hardest pieces from Buckskin Lodge #412 to collect is their J2 backpatch. The story as I heard it, is the teal background was an error and was not widely circulated and eventually destroyed. If anyone has the full story, please feel free to share it.

Brian Petrowski sends along a bit of interesting information on the Buckskin Lodge #412 N0.5 neckerchief.  He advises that:

Since our lodge neckerchiefs are 1 per life these were made up for the contingent going to the 1960 Jamboree to have neckerchiefs to trade.

While unrestricted, since it was only issued for this single event and Buckskin was a large lodge, this one is probably tougher than the 1per life N1 and N2 neckerchiefs.   You can see a sample of the neckerchief below.

At the Sakuwit TOR a couple of weeks back, Juan Gonzalez brought a previously uncatalogued twill direction variety for the Buckskin Lodge #412 J2.5.

While the weather hurt walk-in traffic at the Sakuwit Lodge #2 last weekend, there was a couple of discoveries made and I did fill in a few needs. Juan Gonzalez found a previously unlisted event patch from Buckskin Lodge’s Matinecock Chapter. It was for the 1992 Klondike Derby.

This is the second of two new Training Patches from Buckskin Lodge #412 reported by Brian Petrowski.

…attached you will find scans of the 2008 Training patches from Buckskin Lodge. … The Silver metallic border (R10) was issued to training staff and 12 were made.

…attached you will find scans of the 2008 Training patches from Buckskin Lodge. The green border (R9) was issued for participants and 50 were made.

Brian Petrowski brings word of a new chapter issue from Buckskin Lodge #412’s Amangi Wullit Chapter.

Here is a new item from Buckskin Lodge. …a pocket extension from Amangi Wulit Chapter, which matches the brand new flap (S54).

If my calculations are correct, the Blue book Stats for this one will be:

This is the second of three new issues brought to my attention by Brain Petrowski. This one is the new Lodge Chief issue. Buckskin Lodge has a tradition where the Lodge Chief can award these flaps as a means of recognizing exceptional service to the Lodge. It uses the basic Design of the S54, but has a SMY border.

Brian Petrowski brings word of three new issues from Buckskin Lodge #412. The first is issued to Chapter Chiefs in Buckskin Lodge, who in turn present them to chapter members as a recognition for exceptional service. The design features the ‘new’ wolf head of the S54 and a Blue Border.
