Look Back – Horicon Lodge #246 Belt Buckle

Belt BuckleSix year ago I asked, What do you want to read about? Ray Gould suggested a series on Belt Buckles from New York State OA Lodges.

This was the first one in the series but since I don’t have many myself, so if you want to see more posts on NYS OA belt buckles, send along some scans.

The first one in the series is contributed by Tom Wadnola, it is from Horicon Lodge #246. The Blue Book lists Horicon Lodge as from the merger of Tahawus 32 and Apachedotte 246 in 1955. It later merged with Mide 15 to form Ktemaque 15 in 1973.

  1. Hi Bill-
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow in Verona.
How about a series on lodge oddities/collectibles that don’t get listed in Blue Book?
I can imagine there are piles of items that would be interesting to spotlight on your blog.
    Best wishes-
    Ray

  2. Ray,
Good to see you today. If you can find the Adirondack Lodge left handed smoke shifter, send a scan and write up and I’ll post it. 😉
