Felt Vigil Sash on eBay
Last weekend, there was an auction for a Felt Vigil Sash which ended on eBay. The full description was “Item is “MINT”. Please see picture for condition”
The seller did not indicate if the sash was new, old, original or a reproduction. For that matter he didn’t even say it was felt.
Clicking on the image will bring you to the auction for the next few months.
Based on the final price, $ 107.51 it sold for maybe 10% of what an original felt Vigil sash would sell for.
I’m by no means an expert on this, but the sash looks new rather than vintage.
The seller certainly did not represent it as vintage.
Can anyone with more knowledge shed some light on this one?
