A Look Into The Future

Came across the clips from the old Tom Snyder late night talk show.  there are three clips with Durk  Pearson and science fiction writer, Jerry Pournelle.

You know it was from 40 years ago with Tom Snyder smoking his trademark cigarette and Jerry Pournelle with his pipe.

From circa 1979:

This one I thought was the most interesting.

and the final one, what the next 10 years could bring.

NE-2C 2007 Conclave Patch – VIA?

I originally wrote about the 2007 Section NE-2C Conclave here.  I recently acquired another patch from the 2007 NE-2C Conclave with a yellow border.  I believe this to be the Very Important Arrowman (VIA) issue traditionally used by Section NE-2C.  The  VIA round was traditionally given to the Section COC, each Lodge chief and generally the youngest arrowman in each Lodge contingent.

NE-2C 2007 Pocket Patch - Very Important Arrowman?

Can anyone confirm this is the VIA issue?  I also believe that there was a regular staff issue for the event as well.  Can anyone confirm this?

Buried Treasure – Hanigus Lodge #47 N2

An auction ended on eBay last night which contained a Hanigus Lodge #47 N2, their 30th Anniversary neckerchief. Buried Treasure?

There was no mention of Hanigus Lodge in the auction title or description but there it was in the image.

Clicking on the image will bring you to the auction results for the next few months.

Eight separate bidders found this auction, and 5 of them were willing to pay more than $ 75.00.  the final price was nearly $ 140.

thanks to Ray Gould for pointing this one out to me. If you have an auction you think would qualify, please drop me a note or leave a comment.
