Area 2-A 1959 Pocket Patch
Back in early 2007, I wrote up what was to become one of my first posts on conclave issues; the 1959 Area 2A Conclave.
At the time I was more concerned with a leather slide and trying to determine if it should be considered a Nooteeming Lodge issue or a Conclave issue.
George Jennings confirmed that it was in fact a conclave gift to all in attendance from Nooteeming, the host lodge.
One item that was not pictured in that post, was a pocket patch also issued for the event.

Thanks to Tom Wadnola for the scan. I’ll add this to the earlier post as well.
Despite the recent formation of Area 2-J, it appears that the GNYC lodges were in attendance at the event.
According to the OA Section List, the following lodges were part of Area 2-A at this time.
- Mide Lodge #15
- Skanondo Lodge #64
- Horicon Lodge #246
- Shinnecock Lodge #360
- Buckskin Lodge #412
- Nooteeming Lodge #443
- Munsi Lodge #444
and the GNYC Lodges transitioning to Area 2-J
