OTETIANA/FINGER LAKES COUNCILS MERGER

Looks like the number of active OA Lodges in New York State may be shrinking again.

OTETIANA/FINGER LAKES COUNCILS MERGER STUDY UPDATE – May 18, 2009

At their May meetings the Executive Boards of both the Finger Lakes Council and the Otetiana Council voted unanimously to send a Merger Resolution to their respective councils for consideration at their Annual Meeting.

On June 15 both Councils will ask their eligible voters to cast a ballot on the question of whether or not the two councils should merge into one

If approved, that would mean the eventual merger/consolidation of Ty-Ohni Lodge #95 and Ganeodiyo Lodge #417 probably with the 2010 charter process.
