Delaware County Council OA Neck’chief worn 1958 Enclave

Ebay LogoAnother seldom seen OA Issue recently appeared on eBay with the description “Delaware County Council OA Neck’chief worn 1958 Enclave“  While the Lodge name, Wah-Pe-Kah-Me-Kunk was not listed in the auction, the lodge number 512 was and it was described as an OA Issue.

From the scan, it appears to be the 512 X1 on a neckerchief.

512x11The Blue Book describes it as:
X1 DYL R BLK DYL TRI; flat chenille on sateen

Wah-Pe-Kah-Me-Kunk Lodge #512 was from the Delaware County Council headquatered in Muncie, Indianna. It merged in 1973 with Kikthawenund Lodge #222 and Wahpinachi Lodge #308 to form Wulakamike Lodge #21.

There were a number of highly motivated bidders on this one.  The bidding started at $ 15.00 and 22 bids later, the gavel rang down at over $ 2414.

There were 6 unique bidders at $900 or higher and three of them were willing to spend at least $ 2,000.

A nice surprise for this seller!
