Achpateuny Lodge #498 Dance Team Issue

Knowledge is PowerJohn Pannell has just posted about a Achpateuny Lodge #498 Dance Team issue which just sold on eBay.

0aimages498I have previosly written about OA Ceremonial and Dance Team issues in this series here and here.

John  adds in his post.

Dance team items are hotly sought after by some collectors.    Also, many items from lodge 498 (in any of its three names) are rare and difficult to acquire.   Even though this is a new piece, it is obvious at least two collectors believe it to be rare and valuable as it sold for the “Buy it now” price of $1,000.

Suanhacky Lodge #49 Sticker

Came across this sticker which was produced by Suanhacky Lodge #49.  I’m not sure when the sticker was produced, the sticker uses the design of the 49 S2 or S3 which was from the mid-1970’s.  The same design and color scheme was used in the 49 N2 from the mid-1980’s.

Anyone know when this sticker was issued?

Ktemaque Lodge #15 Exceptional Service Issue

New IssueWhile cleaning out my camera, I came across this pair of images I obtained at the 2008 NE-2C Section Conclave.  Bob F. shared the pair of issues which are recognition of Exceptional Service Awards given out by the Lodge.

The bottom flap was previously listed in the Blue Book as the S9.5, the top flap with the black FDL is the new version.  Apparently they were first given out in early 2008.
