Knowledge is Power - Region 13
Many BSA Collectors have been intrigued by BSA issues from outside on the United States. Whether from Transatlantic Council, Far East Council, Direct Service there is an active collecting community for these issues.
Roy More interviews Bob Cylkowski on a display of some of his Far East Council memorabilia at a recent Calumet TOR.
Region 13 is a term used by collectors for Boy Scout Items from outside the US. As Roy explains a Region 13 patch;
Region 13 was never an official BSA designation for a region which makes it somewhat notorious in collecting circles. The symbol in the center showing “13″ on top of a group of “C”s translates into “Region 13 across the seven seas.” Pretty punny.
As one of the major Scouting Memorabilia dealers, Roy’s blog is often the site to find interesting and unusual collecting specialties.

- I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.
