Wikipedia (pronunciation [3]

Its name is a blend [12] of the words wiki [13] (a technology for creating collaborative websites) and encyclopedia [9]. Launched in January 2001 by Jimmy Wales [14] and Larry Sanger [15],[5] [16] it is the largest, fastest-growing and most popular general reference work currently available on the Internet [17].
One of the resources available on Wikipedia is the Scouting Portal [18]. The Scouting Portal contains links to Scouting News, Scouting by Country, Scouting Lists, Biographies and much more.
